FAQ

Q. What do I need to sign a postpaid plan?
A. As a foreigner: passport + long-term visa (Employment Pass / DP / MM2H) + a local bank account for direct debit. A tourist visa won't qualify — you'd be on prepaid only.
Q. Cheapest family plan?
A. U Family 128 — RM128 for 4 lines = RM32/line, with 5G, unlimited calls and data. SoyaCincau Awards 2025 Family Gold. CelcomDigi has a family plan too but loses on per-line cost.
Q. Can I switch from prepaid to postpaid?
A. Yes, via MNP (number portability), within the same carrier or to a different one. Most expats start on prepaid for the first 3–6 months while sorting visa and bank, then move to postpaid.
